The Coalition to Stop Child Detention through Restorative Justice expresses shock and grief over the passing of journalist Alexander Martin Remollino.
The Coalition condoles with his family, friends, and colleagues. We also express our profound appreciation and gratitude for Alex’s contribution to the advancement of the rights and welfare of children accused of violating the law.
Through his investigative works, Alex exposed the various forms of human rights violations committed against children prisoners. Alex’s pen helped influence and shape public policy and discourse on their plight and issues.
Alex’s writings gave voice to the struggle for dignity and humanity of children prisoners.
