How sad is this Republic
whose young daughters are to beasts being rented out
in exchange for arms and ammunition
that have seen far better days,
in exchange for a few token heads of bandits.
Her honor is being pimped
at the price of a pact for defense
that is not a pact,
that does not deliver defense.
