ANNOUNCEMENT
iVolunteer.ph activities this December

DECEMBER 6

Join us as we kick off the National Volunteer Month 2001 with PAVE's Annual Conference for Volunteer Managers and General Assembly and the theme "Meeting Challenges in Volunteer Management in the New Millennium". We will also launch iVolunteer.ph on this date! Expected to attend are the over 100 individual members and representatives of member volunteer organizations and institutional partners of PAVE. Invited also are interested managers of volunteer programs and organizations from the NGO, corporate and government sectors and the academe.

Venue: ABS-CBN Training Center, 13/f Eugenio Lopez Communications Center, ABS-CBN Compound, Geny Lopez St., QC
Time: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Conference fee: P300/participant for foods and conference kit

DECEMBER 7

Bayanihang Bayan, Pres. Arroyo's volunteer service project for national government agencies and local government units, will be launched on this date. For this project, iVolunteer will provide the same innovative matching system of volunteers and volunteer opportunities in government. It will also serve as the project's support and advocacy unit on the Internet.

Venue: Malacanang Palace
Time: 2:00-4:00 pm
