"Employing grave bombings against Afghan civilians has made the US is no different from the perpetrators of the New York tragedy," said Ms. DJ Janier, Youth for Nationalism and Democracy national chairperson.
She gave this statement in a protest rally at the US Embasy on October 10 as she, together with militant students, protested the retaliatory bombing attacks Sunday night made by the United States and Great Britain on Afghanistan which spelled death to a still unspecified number of Afghan civilians.
This US-led war against Afghanistan is neither righteous or just as hapless civilians-- women and children-bear the brunt of the campaign," Janier explained
"For the US, Operation Enduring Freedom only gave them the license to launch its war: against all it perceives as its enemies," Janier further explained.
Janier added that violence perpetrated against the people of Afghanistan is only a preview of what it can do to all those who run counter to its hegemony. These conditions will only reinforce the conditions that spawned terrorism. tyranny, poverty and discrimination.
"It has virtually made every man its bulls-eye target," quipped Janier.
YND cites that the worst affected In any war are civilians, mostly women and children. To date, there are already two million Afghan women and children refugees who fled Afghanistan since the US started this war.
"We therefore call on the all the peace-loving people. not to be. dragged into this US-led retaliatory war against not only Afghanistan, but the Muslim people," called Janier.
