What
It Feels Like to Know a Friend and Love Him
By Tina Briones
He is an unharnessed
soul who captures the most resolute of mortals, and ruptures the most
sheltered heart. Blessed with unparalleled and unmistakable moves,
he masterfully captivates a woman within an intricate lair of desire.
He moves stealthily, pouring drops of his potion between innocent
and trusting women's lips, holding them spellbound, taking it upon
himself to satiate their every craving for adventure, exhilarating
and new.
Occasionally,
he blows with the sudden swiftness of a whirlwind, his unbidden ferocity
bringing forth a mild hysteria, a disorienting spinning sensation,
a sensuous shiver that heightens emotions, its effects crippling all
resolve. Preys are enticed into a very special haven, a place that
exists in women's blue moon fantasy, where often, they become unhinged
at the knees as the mind spins with a convulsive shudder that leaves
the body gripping onto paroxysmal excitement.
Oftentimes, he
haunts his victims. He follows them, making them vulnerable to his
magnetic persona, playing coy with them, leading them into unchartered
territory, and bring them to a wild, exotic land. A fabled enchanting
land where logic and responsibility do not exist; a land where caution
is thrown into the wind, questions are left with no room, all things
being overcome by acceptance, openness, and union that had never before
been thought feasible by anyone's understanding.
Amazingly, he
penetrates into drifting thoughts of a soul about to take her slumber,
causing delicious and soft rising and falling to spread all throughout
the bodice of her nightshirt, accelerating her heartbeat with intoxicating
urgency, making every satin fold open with such encompassing abandon.
He stays careful,
calculated, hidden in the dark but subtly, fervently, he makes his
presence felt by way of gentle and loving words, virtual and innocent
hugs and kisses, all capable of preying a still-pulsating heart.
He becomes a physical,
magical force to reckon with and once discovered, he unleashes his
limitless zap of energy in a reckless, mind-melting urgency. It moves
through body and soul in unstoppable rhythmic waves, its pounding
beat dashed with scandalous arousal, letting go of the last dash of
misgiving, crushing stoic restraint, putting a conclusion to all forms
of proposed opposition.
With all defenses
down, his strength is fostered within a woman. He becomes the all
redeeming power that can never be cast aside. He is the blissful fusing
of anxious energies now dancing to a song that can only be heard by
the privileged few that were blessed with his silken touch. And still,
some fear to speak his name, opting to live in denial of his existence.
They cower in his power and shut him out in the cold winter, hoping
that he will immobilize and freeze, hoping that he will leave and
never show his face again. In ignorance, they mock those blessed with
his gift and proceed on with their lives, clueless that the rhythmic
poetry and beauty of life will always be beyond their imagination.
The real beauty
and essence of living and loving remains out of reach of their closed
palms. But for the enlightened ones who are open to him, he gives
to them his very being. He allows all things to be seen by them from
his panoramic and mature perspective as he says, "Keep on loving everyone
around you. Help people in their weakest hours, do good things--write
poems and short stories, help people in the same predicament as you.
You'll feel much better in no time."
And for the first
time, because of his refreshing attitude, the whole awesome cosmic
picture is fully revealed. He bestows the honest and sincere flame
of life where contentment and serenity rule overall things. There
is no agony, no doubts. There is simply peace until the end, interspersed
with subtle ecstasy, then blended with pleasure unrestrained; unimaginable
pleasure, all captured in mighty words that he always say,"I love
you, great, great, great friend." And to that I say, " I love you, too!"
