Aksyon Kabataan(AK), the official youth arm of Sen. Raul S. Roco's
Aksyon Demokratiko Party, will be holding the YouthCamp2003 (yc3),
a leadership training course designed to hone the leadership qualities
and skills of the youth, from April 24(Thursday) to 27 (Sunday), 2003
in Tagaytay.
In line with this, we are cordially inviting you to participate in
the selection process by submitting to us the accomplished forms attached
to this letter. The yc3 shall serve both as a training program and
a planning activity for the would-be selected youth leaders from all
over the country. A quota of 300 delegates (only 80 of which will
undergo the actual training course) is set for accommodation. Hence,
screening shall be required of. To qualify, one must:
1. be 17-26 years of age
2. be either of these:
a. have held a position in a youth/student organization
b. have organized or significantly contributed in organizing an activity/project
catering to the youth
c. a student/former student with a good class standing
3. accomplish an application form (attached Form-1)
4. secure endorsement/ recommendation from an AKSYON leader. (attached
Form-2)
(The National HQ of AKSYON has the sole authority to recognize and
identify AKSYON leaders.)
All forms (Forms 1-5) should be submitted on or before 12 April 2003.
Final list of official delegates will be uploaded in the Aksyon Kabataan
website at http://aksyonkabataan.cjb.net.
Official delegates will receive an invitation 1-2weeks before the
actual activity.
