TULA
When
the Sun Shines
By Carlo Aristotle
Remollino
Before, and
yesterday, all was then well.
but now, today, all's twisted, burned, rotten
as Satan's place, his kingdom black of death.
In hell, where the unholy souls then dwell.
Wars never cease,
the flames had risen, blood
then spills on grounds Queen Purity once sowed
on. Claimed by kings of strife, the pawns then kneel,
the black knights, lo! They heed their call, they cut
the heads off the pawns. The bishops, they weep.
The towers fall. The queens, princesses, those
who are raped and slain, such a gory sight.
God, I wish
all these evil deeds will end.
Mother Peace, where have you gone? In these days
we yearn for the age you reigned. Were you
Bound and chained as your sister, Justice?
I'll wait for you tomorrow, when the sun shines.
